Biography
Thomas Henry Moray was an American inventor who developed a "Radiant Energy Device" that reportedly produced up to 50 kilowatts of electrical power from antenna and ground connections using specialized cold-cathode vacuum tubes he called "Moray valves." He demonstrated his device numerous times during the 1930s and 1940s to various witnesses. Moray's tubes may have incorporated early semiconductor materials (possibly germanium or silicon doped with radioactive elements) predating the transistor. His son, John Moray, continued to advocate for his father's work. The original devices were destroyed or lost.
