Privacy Policy

How we collect, protect, and handle data on enmagx.com

1. Information Collection

We value your privacy. The enmagx platform collects minimal information required to provide community engagement, discussions, and device voting:

  • Account Details: When you register on the Platform, we store your email address, name, handle, and a hashed representation of your password.
  • Google Auth Data: If you sign in via Google, we verify your email address and profile name to authenticate you, without accessing your Google Account files.
  • Interactive Data: We store forum posts, comments, device upvotes/downvotes, and suggested builds you post to show them in discussions and pages.

2. Cookies and Sessions

We use a single essential cookie named enmagx_session to store your authenticated session token (using JSON Web Tokens - JWT). This cookie is strictly necessary for maintaining your login state across different page navigations.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or share search query data with external marketing companies.

3. Data Security

All password credentials are hashed using secure bcrypt algorithms before being written to our database. Our platform communication is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS) to prevent interception.

4. Your Data Rights

If you wish to view, export, or permanently delete your account profile and associated discussion comments, you can request an account removal in your user dashboard, or contact the site administration.
