Overview
Specialized cold-cathode 'Moray valve' detector tubes with antenna and ground connections converted 'cosmic ray' or 'radiant sea' energy into electricity. Demonstrations reportedly powered 50 kW loads including lamps, motors, and heaters. The tube construction details are largely lost.
