Biography

Jim Murray is an American inventor and electrical engineer who holds the US patent for the Dynaflux Alternator and co-developed the SERPS system with Paul Babcock. Murray's Dynaflux design uses a unique armature configuration that forces magnetic flux to move parallel to the rotation axis rather than perpendicular, fundamentally reducing back-EMF and Lenz's Law braking effects. He is a regular presenter at the Energy Science & Technology Conference and continues active research into resonant power systems and transformer design.
