Steorn (Sean McCarthy)

Biography

Steorn was an Irish technology company led by Sean McCarthy that claimed to have developed a permanent magnet motor/generator, the Orbo, achieving overunity. Public demonstrations in London in 2007 failed due to technical issues, and a subsequent independent jury of scientists concluded that no overunity was demonstrated.
